Visita Iglesia — Year of Hope

Visita Iglesia, which translates to “church visit” in Spanish, is a Holy Week tradition practiced by Filipino Catholics where they visit seven churches to pray and reflect on the Passion of Christ. It’s a form of spiritual pilgrimage and a way to deepen faith during this solemn time. This year’s pilgrimage is made special as it coincides with the Year of Hope where pilgrimages to the Jubilee Year is encouraged.
DCS annual Lenten Pilgrimage is not just a spiritual journey but also a celebration of community where participants came together to pray as they visited churches. It was also an experience of joy as they shared laughter during the time spent together and enjoyed the food that each brought to share a meal as a DCS family. Deo Gratias!
