REMINDERS

  • Archbishop’s Annual Visit to DCS

Please be informed that the Annual School Visit of the Archbishop of Agana, Most Reverend Michael Jude Byrnes will be on Friday, January 24, 2020 from 10AM to 12 Noon. His visit will include Eucharistic Celebration at the Chapel, short classroom visit to Pre-K and Kindergarten students, and a general assembly with the school community.

In connection with this, we invite you to join us, if your schedule allows it, but we do encourage you to join us in spirit by sending prayer intentions and/or names of your family and friends that you want us to pray for during the Holy Mass. Kindly email us your intention/s at weprayforyou@dcsguam.com, or write it in a piece of paper and send it to us through your child’s homeroom teacher no later than Friday. Your prayer request may or may not be announced before the mass, but will be remembered and included in our prayers.

ALL STUDENTS MUST WEAR THEIR SCHEDULED SCHOOL OR PE UNIFORM. 

NO DRESS DOWN ON FRIDAY, January 24, 2020. 

  • MARCH FOR LIFE 2020 (Middle School students only)

Middle school students joining the March for Life on Friday, January 24, 2020 should submit a signed parents’ permission form. No one will be allowed to attend without a signed permission form/waiver. All should wear PE uniform and comfortable rubber shoes. They may opt to bring umbrella and/or cap. There will be water refilling stations; students should just bring their water container. The event is expected to finish between 5 – 5:30 PM. Please pick your child on time.

  • Catholic Schools Week/DCS Last Sunday of the Month School Mass at the Our Lady of Lourdes

Everyone is invited to join the school community for the Catholic Schools Week/DCS Last Sunday of the Month School Mass at the Our Lady of Lourdes on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at 9:30 AM. All students should wear their school uniform. DCS students will serve as lectors (readers), hospitality ministers, presenters of gifts, and choir during the mass.

Copy of the Catholic Schools Week Calendar of Activities has been distributed to students.
